My love of computing started in 1983 when I got my first computer, a Commodore 64, when all my friends were getting Ataris!  I couldn't afford the game cartridges, so I taught myself BASIC programming from one of the best training manuals I've ever used.  By 1984 a friend of mine from high school and I were teaching federal employees how to use computers in the local computer store to help pay off the costs of the hardware we bought from them.  Another interest of mine was musical performance.  If you think you can guess the instrument, send me an email from the "Contact" page.  If you get it right, I'll take 15% OFF YOUR FIRST CLASS.  If you give me the correct answer as to why you chose the right instrument, I'll give you 25% OFF YOUR FIRST CLASS!  I'll give you a clue: I would never let my daughter date a guy who played this instrument for a living.
