What is the different between Office 2016 and 365?
As of this writing, November 2018, Office 2016 is actually installed onto your computer, while 365 can be accessed from ANY web browser without ANY Office programs having to be installed.
HOWEVER, this is quickly changing. You might notice when you start up your trusty local version od Word the splash screen states "Word 365" NOT "Word 2016". Not to worry, Word is still installed on your computer, but is it morphing closer to Office 365 (online) and could disappear from being installed on your computer altogether.
